Legality.net is operated by DIFFT LLC in the United States. It provides a general planning tool for identifying topics that may deserve legal or operational review. It does not provide legal advice, create an attorney-client relationship, determine whether any law applies, certify compliance, or guarantee an outcome.
You are responsible for the answers you provide, how you interpret the result, and the decisions you make. Laws, platform rules, and guidance change; requirements depend on facts, sector, thresholds, location, and jurisdiction. Consult qualified counsel before relying on the checklist for a launch, transaction, regulated activity, or high-impact decision.
You may use and copy your generated checklist for personal or internal business planning. Evidence references and dates, exact-handoff receipts, reviewer returns and their next-step routes, updated-review packets, responsible owners, and internal targets are user-entered coordination records. They are not verification, reviewer authentication, approval, provenance certification, legal advice, proof of legal sufficiency, statutory or contractual deadlines, or compliance determinations. Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass its security, or present its output as a legal certification.
The service is provided as available, without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited. The public contact route is not yet verified because no public destination or mail-routing path has been selected and tested; a verified contact method will be published when available.

Your questionnaire choices and generated checklist are processed in your browser. The application does not send them to an application server, save them to an account, or place them in cookies or persistent local storage.
To recover progress after a reload, the app may store normalized answers, the visible result state, action preparation statuses, evidence receipts and basis metadata, optional owners, internal target dates, private packet notes, optional exact-handoff receipts, the latest private reviewer return and its next-step route for each packet, an optional redacted comparison baseline, an optional reversible scope-edit checkpoint, the latest committed note-safe scope-change record, imported-pack metadata, shared-scope origin, and interface state in this tab’s session storage. Evidence, handoff, and reviewer-return routing locators can contain internal file names, URLs, ticket IDs, repository paths, systems, or owner labels; reviewer-return summaries and follow-ups can contain confidential review detail. Do not paste passwords, tokens, sensitive personal data, or secrets. A scope-edit checkpoint can temporarily retain packet work that no longer matches an experimental scope so you can restore or archive it before explicitly keeping the change. Reset removes supported session formats. Browsers normally end the tab session when the tab or browser session is closed, although session-restore features may preserve it.
Cloudflare, as the hosting and security provider, may process ordinary request and security data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, and abuse signals. This release contains no analytics, advertising pixels, marketing cookies, account creation, document upload, or application-server answer logging.
Copy, text download, ordinary print, the missing-evidence brief, focused reviewer artifacts, Review Pack save/open/compare, prior-scope archive, scope-change-record export, general handoff, review triggers, calendar export, and scope-link sharing run only when you choose them. Review Pack v6 files are generated or read in the browser; the app does not upload them. They may contain answers, evidence receipts, exact-handoff locators, private reviewer-return summaries and follow-ups, reviewer-return routing locators, owners, internal targets, and private packet notes, so store and share them appropriately. Default copy, text download, ordinary print, missing-evidence briefs, queue, general handoff, calendar, comparison copy, Scope Links, and updated-review packets exclude private packet notes, private reviewer-return contents, handoff and routing locators, comparison state, and scope checkpoints. A focused reviewer brief includes evidence references but excludes private decision/counsel note contents and private reviewer-return text. Updated reviewer packets use the same boundary. Comparison uses redacted presence/fingerprint projections and does not display private values. A scope link places only the seven normalized answers and optional preset identifier in the URL fragment; it excludes preparation, evidence, owners, targets, notes, all review records, checkpoints, comparison data, handoff settings, and calendar data. URL fragments are not sent to the application server, but anyone you share the link with can read its encoded scope. External official-source links open the destination site, whose own privacy practices then apply. The public contact route is not yet verified because no public destination or mail-routing path has been selected and tested.
